Auction Terms and Conditions

Registration
Prospective bidders are required to register prior to bidding. A bidding card is required in order to bid on a lot in the auction. A bidding card may be obtained by filing in an Application Form to be provided by the Auctioneer. An applicant must provide identification (drivers license, ID card or passport). A deposit will be required for registration for all foreign (non-US) bidders either on-site or via WWA BidLive Internet Bidding, of no less than 10,000 USD by cashbank cheque or wire transfer to World Wide Auctioneers Inc.. Deposits will be refunded after the auction for those who have registered but made no purchase at the Auction.
Absentee Bidding
Absentee bidders may fill in an absentee bid form available from the Auctioneers at least 7 (seven) days before the sale, instructing the Auctioneers to bid on his behalf. Please refer to the Absentee Bid Form for further details, terms and conditions. A 2% Proxy Bidding charge will charged on all purchases made via Proxy Bidding to a maximum of $500 USD per lot.
Internet Bidding
Internet bidders making purchases at this auction with WWA BidLive will be subject to an additional fee amounting to 2% of each item's purchased sales price. This internet bidding fee is capped at $1,000 USD per lot, and those internet bidders purchasing more than $250,000 at a single auction will have this fee cap reduced to $500 USD per lot. No charges apply to unsuccessful bidders
Terms of Sale
All purchases will be made in U.S. Dollars. A 7% purchasers handling charge applies to every item purchased below $2,500. Payment shall be made in US Dollars and made in cash, check or by direct bank transfer (SWIFT 01) or by other means acceptable to the Auctioneer at his sole discretion. (When instructing payment with your bank please quote your buyer number) 25 % of the purchase price or 10,000 US Dollars, whichever amount is higher, shall be paid at the date of the Auction and the balance shall be paid within 7 days after the date of the Auction. No purchases may be removed from the Auction site until paid in full of any and all amounts due to the Auctioneer after the sale date. Payments by check will required the check to be cleared prior to equipment removal.
EVERYTHING SELLS AS IS WHERE IS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, NEITHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUATORY.
Descriptions of lots / No Warranties.
The descriptions in this brochure / website are believed to be correct, however the descriptions are merely a guide and are in no way a warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied. Neither the Auctioneer nor the Seller is responsible for any errors in descriptions of the quality, character or condition of the equipment and purchaser shall not be entitled to any remedy or claim on account of the quality, character or condition of the equipment purchased.
Inspection of equipment.
The equipment is available for inspection three (3) days prior to the auction date at the auction site. The Bidder / Buyer should make the decision to bid / purchase the equipment based exclusively on his personal inspection of the equipment. The equipment descriptions contained on our website and in the Auction catalog are believed to be correct, however any errors in these descriptions will not relieve the Bidder / Buyer from his obligations under the bidding terms and conditions of the Auction. Please inspect the equipment prior to bidding to insure it is what you expect and require. Should you have any questions during the previews or at the Auction, please talk to the Auctioneer's.
Import/Export requirements
Certain requirements may have to be met before the equipment maybe exported. Compliance with such requirements is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. The Auctioneer does not provide safety certificates, certificates of origin and the like. Payment of export or other fees, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser of the equipment.
Auction Site / Warning
The bidder acknowledges that the Auction site is a potential dangerous place. Heavy equipment is being operated, potentially dangerous materials may be present, electric circuits maybe live and other potential dangers maybe exist. Every person at the Auction site ( and other areas where the property is located or displayed ) shall be there on there on his own risk. No person shall have any claim against the Auctioneer, their agents, employees or principals neither for any personal injury sustained or death nor for damages to or loss of property which may occur from any cause whatsoever.
Absolute Auction Policy
Equipment sold at WWA Auctions is sold to the highest bidder without minimums or reserves of any kind, regardless of the selling price. All sellers are prohibited by contract from bidding on their own equipment or having a representative bid on their behalf. Anyone with knowledge of an owner attempting to bid on his equipment is encouraged to notify World Wide Auctioneers immediately.
